Lucy is Kelsey’s only sibling and is loved with a passion and utterly adored by my good friend Jo and her family. Thankfully she lives locally enough for us to enjoy her delightful company on a regular basis and the warmth of her ecstatic welcome for both myself and canine compatriots simply endorses my belief that all our returning pups remembers well, with affection, the time they spent here as a pup. She is bright and beautiful, willing and biddable with the sunniest of natures and true golden temperament. She has a lovely mid golden coat with the blackest of pigment and soft expressive eyes. She is in peak condition as a result of the excellent care she receives and long daily country walks. She moves with the speed and elegance of a young gazelle and although never “formally trained” she displays all the natural working and retrieving instincts that epitomises this gundog breed. She is another little water baby, showing a particular enthusiasm for water retrieves, happy to launch herself with total verve and commitment off several feet from a quay into deep water, but is slightly more hesitant when entering from a shore line! She happily shares her life with “Cola” the cat, a couple of free range chickens and a tortoise, but returned to us for maternal duties a couple of years ago.  Thank you Jo for your generosity and belief in my dreams.  She is our gorgeous baby Sadie’s dam and she took to motherhood like the proverbial duck to water.  We are her second home whenever holidays dictate and she slips back into family as if she had never left.
